Thanks, Drew. It’s funny, before the summer Supergirl and Moana were two of the “I don’t know” movies where the trailers gave me real hesitancy and I reduced my predictions as a result. But my thinking was these types of movies still bring people in no matter what. Not this year, the masses just said no.
Great reflective piece. It’s wild and exciting that predictions for the likes of “moana” and “mando” were way-off and it made way for other smaller films gaining the attention!
Great calls on a few of these, especially getting so close with Disclosure Day. Moana and Supergirl tanking were hard to predict for everyone.
